Geaux 2 Recovery is the telemedicine service line powered by Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana. It helps eligible adults access addiction treatment and recovery support from home through secure telehealth.

Through Geaux 2 Recovery, eligible patients may receive services such as medication-assisted treatment, Suboxone or buprenorphine treatment when clinically appropriate, counseling, prescription management, secure messaging, and recovery education through the Crossroads Recovery app.

Geaux 2 Recovery is designed to make treatment more accessible for patients who may have transportation barriers, work or family responsibilities, or difficulty traveling regularly to the Baton Rouge or Gonzales office. Some in-person visits may still be required.

Yes. Eligible adults 18 and older may be able to receive addiction treatment and recovery services from home through Geaux 2 Recovery, the telemedicine service line powered by Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana.

The Crossroads team will complete a confidential screening to determine whether telehealth is appropriate based on your needs, location, payer requirements, clinical guidelines, and safety considerations.

Geaux 2 Recovery currently serves eligible patients in East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, West Baton Rouge, Iberville, St. James, Assumption, Pointe Coupee, and East Feliciana parishes.

Geaux 2 Recovery telemedicine services may be available to eligible adults in the following Louisiana parishes: East Baton Rouge Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, West Baton Rouge Parish, Iberville Parish, St. James Parish, Assumption Parish, Pointe Coupee Parish, and East Feliciana Parish.

Eligibility may depend on your location, clinical needs, payer requirements, and whether telemedicine is appropriate for your treatment plan. Patients can call or text Crossroads to confirm eligibility for their specific parish.

Yes. Patients using Geaux 2 Recovery may still be required to complete in-person visits at Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana.

At minimum, one in-person visit is required every six months. Additional in-person visits may be needed based on clinical, regulatory, payer, laboratory, drug screening, or provider requirements.

When an in-person visit is required, it is scheduled at either the Baton Rouge office at 4626 Sherwood Common Blvd, Suite 402, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, or the Gonzales office at 826 W Hwy 30, Gonzales, LA 70737. Most eligible appointments may be completed from home through secure telemedicine.

Yes. Geaux 2 Recovery telemedicine visits are conducted through a secure platform designed to protect patient privacy.

Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana follows applicable federal and state healthcare privacy laws. Patient treatment information is confidential and protected. Our team can answer questions about privacy, consent, and how telehealth visits work before your first appointment.

Telemedicine addiction treatment through Geaux 2 Recovery may be covered by commercial insurance or other payment options, depending on the patient’s plan, eligibility, and treatment needs.

Medicaid patients may qualify for affordable or grant-supported telehealth treatment options through Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana’s Community Access Grant, when available and when program requirements are met.

Eligible patients may be able to receive Suboxone or other buprenorphine-based treatment through Geaux 2 Recovery telemedicine when clinically appropriate.

The first step is a confidential screening. A Crossroads provider will review your substance use history, medical needs, current symptoms, treatment goals, and whether telehealth medication-assisted treatment is appropriate.

Patients receiving controlled substance prescriptions through telemedicine must complete required in-person visits at the Baton Rouge or Gonzales office. Additional in-person visits may be needed based on clinical, regulatory, or payer requirements.

Geaux 2 Recovery, powered by Crossroads Recovery Center of Louisiana, may provide telemedicine-based Suboxone and medication-assisted treatment for eligible patients in select Louisiana parishes.

Yes. Some medication-assisted treatment and outpatient recovery services may be available through telehealth in Louisiana for eligible patients.

Telehealth availability depends on clinical suitability, patient location, payer requirements, safety considerations, and provider recommendations.
